The dog days of summer.

Summer hasn't even arrived and yet it sure does feel like it, and I'm not talking temperature. Well my Summer is usually consumed of softball, swimming, parties, Kennywood, and well of course more softball. I am a softball player. This is my 8th season and lets just say our teams worst. Our record is like 0-5, mean while last year we were division champions. Softball in the summer means hot games in the black catching gear, yes I do play catcher and left-center. It seems every year it just gets hotter! After a hot softball game mom usually cracks a cold one and we head on over to our friends house, who just happens to have a nice pool. They live 2 houses up so its not to far away. Well since I just did really well at my game I get rewarded a swim in the pool(: There pool is so refreshing. We do have a lot of parties in the summer. We start off the parting season with a huge Memorial extravaganza ,including food, volleyball, kickball, adult beverages for the adults, and ends in a camp out in the yard. We also have my birhday party in the summer since my birthday is July 22nd. That must have been my parents happiest day, ya right that day hasn't come yet its the day I move out. Well we also get atleats one trip to Kennywood in. Usually the annual Canonsburg day, which just happens to fall on my birthday this year. I cannot wait to ride the roller coasters. Oh I almoost forgot the best part about this summer is the fact that 3 days after my birthday I'm going to the... JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT!!!!!!!! Not for the first time but the second(: Yaaaaaaaay I cannot wait. Well got to go practice softball, see thats where the more softball comes in!
